oblivious to throw away my garbage & to peek on the door peephole

again, I forgot to throw away my garbage. Since I moved to my new apartment (btw we can only stay in the dorm for 1 year), there are two things that make me feel uneasy. The first thing is about garbage collection in my area. In the area around my apartment, we can waste burnable garbage on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; unburnable garbage only on the second Monday of the month; recycleable garbage (pet bottles, cans and bins) on Sunday. In the dorm, even though we were told to waste our garbage on specific days, the rule is not so strict, we could still waste recycleable garbage everyday. Today, I've just found my neighbor's garbage returned, attached right on her mail box. So I thought, hey, how did they know that it's my neighbor's garbage (we throw our garbage not in front of our building, but in the garbage collection area, 2 buildings away from our building). Then, I looked closer to a ripped paper attached on top of the trash bag.. it was a paper ripped from an envelope with an address written on it. omg... I should be careful about this -.-
oh well.. anyway, my neighbor is for the blame, she put pet bottle in the same trash bag with burnable garbage.

The second thing that make me feel insecure here is because my room is in the first floor.. and unlike the dorm where there are gates and door with password for the entrance, here.. anybody can knock on my door. Today, someone knocked on my door at 10 pm.. I wonder who was it, I thought it was my friend.. but then when I opened the door, I faced with a completely unknown guy.. and later on, I found out that he is a newspaper salesman.. grrr... He kept talking and talking until I promised him that *may be* I will subscribe the newspaper for three months... It was so damn cold near the door (it's 2 degree-celcius here at night), I didn't wear my jacket and my feet were without socks.. and I just wanted to send him away. grrr.. next time I'll peek on the door peephole.
